下面留言的內容,我看大多都是一面倒的
致力推廣運動科學知識的我,想表達小小想法
我知道,這篇文章會很像引戰文
但我希望你可以用開放的觀念去理解我心目中
#私人教練是多麼神聖的一個職業
(我知道你簡簡單單用四個字"關你屁事"就可以打臉我)
(或許你的教練你覺得很棒,但他/她會抽菸)
我沒有批判抽菸不好,或說每個人都不應該抽菸
也不是論述說,抽菸對於健康的危害有哪些
我遇過大多數無法戒斷抽菸有兩個因素
「抽菸讓我放鬆、調節情緒、消磨時間、快樂」
「社交」
1️⃣
首先,我可以試著從留言者文字去理解他們的認知,節錄幾個如下
「營養師不能吃鹽酥雞?」
「所以教練都要是聖人??」
「政治人物都能貪污了教練不能抽煙嗎」
「抽煙不能當教練 那是不是醫生就不能感冒」
「林俊傑愛玩女人也不是唱的歌一堆人愛 專業歸專業好嗎」
「醫生怎麼可以死,這樣要別人怎麼相信醫生的醫術
賣咖啡的怎麼可以睡覺,這樣叫我如何相信咖啡有提神的效果」
「打手槍可以當教練嗎?」
「 醫生也很多抽煙,那醫生不就不能醫人」
「懶覺這麼小 有什麼資格穿內褲啦」
我也用這些邏輯的比喻,試著造句看看
「律師不能犯法?」
「理財顧問不能很窮?」
「牙醫師不能蛀牙?」
「老師是聖人?」
「心理醫生不能得憂鬱症嗎?」
先去檢視一下上面的舉例
再去思考一下
『職業』與『可選擇的行為』有關連嗎?
(而這個行為是可戒斷還是成癮性的,與他的職業範疇有相關嗎)
我覺得裡面有些不錯的比喻像是
「營養師不能吃鹽酥雞?」
當然
乾你屁事!
但我相信
有執照的營養師是不會在自己的飲食計畫
或是任何一個客戶的飲食處方,照三餐的成癮吃鹹酥雞
如果要維持長期的飲食健康習慣
教育客戶適量、或是取代的方案
2️⃣
對於「私人教練」的工作涵蓋範疇有哪些
從在留言內容我個人的理解,大多數人對於私人教練
可能偏向一個『訓練師』
『訓練師』的工作範疇:訓練個體達到其目標。
我想說的是,私人教練的工作範疇不僅僅於此
不只是教適合每個個體的深蹲、硬舉
如果你認為只有訓練師的話,那就可以合理與正當的解釋你認為私人教練抽菸乾你屁事這件事情了
「私人教練除了訓練師以外,還可以做什麼?」
在我培訓的美國運動委員會私人教練證照(America Council of Exercise - Certified Personal Trainer, ACE-CPT)」
大概跟大家介紹一下,涵蓋那些內容:
「運動科學(解剖學、生理學、營養學、適應性等)
私人教練角色範疇與道德
動機與堅持度原則
溝通與教學技巧
行為改變與健康心理學
ACE的整合體適能模式
建立默契初步探討
功能性評估
生理評估
穩定度、活動度和動作功能計畫設定
阻力訓練計畫與進階
心肺訓練計畫與進階
身心運動
特殊人群
常見骨骼肌損傷和對運動的影響
緊急程序
法律指南與職業責任
私人教練業務基礎」
講了拉哩拉紮
如果要用一段話來敘述私人教練的工作內容
「為所有可訓練客戶提供安全有效的指導,以健康生活型態的培養,達到終生健康為最大宗旨」
說穿了,除了在運動的指導上,更重要的是要教導以及引道客戶達到「健康」的生活型態,不論是飲食還是生活(運動)習慣
如果要更確切的定義,健康還有不同維度方式的定義
除了以往大眾認知的生理健康,還有比較鮮少聽到的職業、情緒、理智、社會、精神、環境、財務健康等等

「一個推廣健康的工作者,自己執行一個無法戒斷且成癮性的不健康行為?」
私人教練遇到的客戶來自於不同社會層級、經濟水平、文化、教育與喜好等等
私人教練也必須要知道
「並不是所有人都喜歡運動」
你可以單純用「阿你就多運動阿,運動很棒耶」
用在每一位客戶
認為客戶不來運動是他/她自己的問題
如果這樣
我認為,你尚有進步空間
在行為改變這部分
要一個體做出原本不習慣
甚至是討厭的「趨向健康行為改變」是一件非常非常困難的事情
我可以說,刺繡可以幫助神經肌肉連結與控制以及沉靜你的心靈,你會去做出這個行為改變嗎?
當然有些人會,但我相信大多數人不會
所以私人教練們必須要知道
「改變,對所有人,都是一件困難的事情」
在目前的科學研究與文化認知上
「不運動且坐姿生活型態不健康」
「抽菸不健康」
私人教練除了「訓練」以外的重點
在於要怎麼樣根據每個客戶遇到的障礙與困難
引導客戶做出長期的健康行為改變

最後,我真的不是去論述以及戰
「私人教練可以抽菸嗎」
我希望成癮於抽菸的你
以沒有批判性的角度去思考一下
「是什麼原因讓你習慣抽菸?」
就跟私人教練會去詢問客戶一樣
「是什麼因素羈絆你讓你沒有規律運動的習慣?」
逐步找出每個客戶不同的困難點與支持點
最終的目標
都是使每一個來找你的客戶
除了「訓練」他/她,達到他們的目標體態以外
讓每一個客戶可以養成長期的健康行為(飲食與運動)改變習慣,達到終生的健康

I wear my smartwatch every single day! That's because I want to be able to track not just my workouts, but also my health all day long. The fact is, when we're able to gather more data and knowledge about our own body and how we are performing in each workout session, that will give you the motivation and discipline to stay consistent. BREAKFAST - Mushroom Egg Muffins (6 muffins)
1) 6 Eggs - 468cals
2) 1/2 Red Bell Pepper, diced
3) 1/4 cup Mushroom, diced
4) 1/2 can of Tuna
5) 1/2 tsp. Cajun Seasoning
6) Salt & Pepper to taste
Per Egg Muffin - 94Cals
LUNCH - Asian Salmon Stir Fry (serves 2)
1) 1 Salmon Fillet, cut into cubes
2) 1/2 cup Green Beans, trimmed & sliced
3) 1 cup Mushrooms, sliced
4) 2 garlic Cloves, minced
5) 1 tbsp. Soy Sauce, divided
6) 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
7) Spring Onions, chopped
Soba Noodles & Edamame Salad (Serves 2)
1) 90g uncooked soba noodles
2) 1/4 cup Edamame, unshelled
3) 1/2 tbsp. Sesame Seeds
4) 1 tsp. Sesame Oil
5) 1 tsp. Chilli Flakes
6) Spring Onions

DINNER - Steamed Soy Ginger Barramundi (serves 2)

40-Minute Resistance Band Total Body Strength Training
Blast your whole body with this resistance band workout. Resistance band has got to be my favourite piece of fitness equipment as they are super affordable, easy to transport and extremely effective in strengthening the entire body. I travel with my resistance band wherever I go to make sure I get to workout no matter where I am! In this workout, I share with you some of my best and favourite resistance band exercises to target the larger muscles as well as smaller muscles. Plus, this is low impact so it’s suitable for everybody!
Duration: 35 Minutes
